The theme for our February story slam was Missed Connections. We heard stories about a bike race, being a tech luddite, and even one about an embarrassing first visit to the gynocologist. Our winner was Phil Broder, who shared the story of a dicey travel day en route to Hel (Poland).

He won an exclusive York Story Slam-branded journal from our friends at Story Supply Co and earned a spot in our Grand Slam in November. Phil (right) is pictured here with this month’s MC and 2024 Grand Slam champ, Tim McGuinness.
