The theme for our first story slam of the year was Making Moves. We heard stories about relocating, changing careers, and first impressions after moving to York. Our winner was Mark Lentz, who recalled abrupt moves to escape a tumultuous childhood home.

He won an exclusive York Story Slam-branded journal from our friends at Story Supply Co and earned a spot in our Grand Slam in November. Mark (right) is pictured here with this month’s MC and reigning Grand Slam champ, Matt McDunnell.
